By using CosmicSync you accept these terms. If any point does not suit you, it is better not to use the site.
What this is
CosmicSync computes the positions of celestial bodies and builds text for reflection out of them. The astronomical part is real: positions are computed from orbital elements published by NASA JPL and from the Meeus algorithms, and they can be checked against any ephemeris calculator.
Astrological interpretation is not science. Claims connecting the positions of the planets with events in a life are not scientifically established, and we do not present them as if they were. The site is intended for entertainment, self-observation and reflection.
This is not advice
Nothing on the site is medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Do not make decisions about health, treatment, money, contracts or relationships on the basis of a reading without consulting a suitable professional.
If things are hard right now and you are thinking about hurting yourself, reach out to someone close to you or to a crisis service in your country. That matters more than any reading.
Age
The site is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
Purchases
- Right now everything here is free. There is no payment on the site, no card field and no subscription — there is nothing to buy.
- Readings written by the Oracle are limited to a few per person, with a shared daily cap for the whole site. That is a limit on cost, not a paywall: the horoscope, your chart and all the explanations have no limit.
- Paid readings are planned for later — the intended price is one dollar per reading, and the horoscope, the chart and the explanations stay free. The current state of that plan is on the pricing page.
- When payment does exist, the price will be shown before you enter anything and before you confirm, and these terms will be updated first. Nothing already bought becomes more expensive afterwards.
Refunds
There is nothing to refund at the moment, because there is nothing to pay. When payment exists, refunds will be handled by us and not by an app store: write to cosmicsyncapp@gmail.com and say what went wrong. No form, no ticket number.
Separately from that: if a reading fails on our side, the credit is returned automatically and you do not have to ask for anything.
Your data
What we collect and why is described in the Privacy Policy. You remain the owner of the data you entered and can delete it together with your account at any time.
Rules of use
Do not try to circumvent limits, automate requests to the server, resell access, or pass generated text off as professional consultation. We may restrict access if the site is used in a way that harms the service or other users.
Availability
The astronomical calculations work without a network. The written readings depend on external services and may be temporarily unavailable. If a reading fails, nothing is deducted from your balance.
Limits of liability
The site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions taken on the basis of text on the site, nor for indirect damages. This does not limit consumer rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will announce material changes on this page. Continuing to use it after the changes take effect means you accept them.
