Who computes this, and how
A short page without the grand claims. What we do, where the numbers come from, and the lines we do not cross.
Who
One person makes this. An engineer, in Calgary. Not a studio, not a newsroom of astrologers, not a team with a content department.
Which is why there is nothing here that cannot be checked: one person cannot keep inventions consistent across fourteen places at once.
What we do
We work out where the planets stand at a particular minute, and write the text from those numbers. Not the other way round: numbers first, words second.
Under every text there is a “Computed from” block — the bodies, aspects and dates it was derived from. That block is not decoration: it is what lets you disagree with us.
How it is actually computed
The numbers below are read out of the site’s own code, not written for this page. If the code changes and this does not, the build fails.
- Planets
- Keplerian elements from E. M. Standish, JPL Solar System Dynamics, “Keplerian Elements for Approximate Positions of the Major Planets”, the 1800–2050 set. The publication is open — you can check it.
- The Moon
- Separately: the series from Jean Meeus, “Astronomical Algorithms”, table 47.A. The Moon moves too fast to be handled by the same approximation as the planets.
- Bodies
- 10 — the Sun, the Moon and eight planets, Pluto included.
- Precession
- Accounted for. Without it the positions drift away from the real sky slowly: over thirty years the difference is already visible.
- Houses
- Whole sign. The sign holding the ascendant becomes the entire first house, the next sign the second, and so on. It is the oldest and simplest system; its boundaries do not jump with the birth minute, and it leaves nowhere to hide an error.
- Without a birth time
- The ascendant and the houses are not computed — and we say so, instead of quietly substituting noon. The Sun sign, the Moon sign and the aspects between planets stay correct.
Aspects and orbs
An orb is the tolerance: how far the angle may sit from exact and still count as an aspect. Different schools use different numbers; these are ours.

What we do not do
- We do not sell “energies”. The words “the universe wants”, “vibration” and “destiny” do not appear here — not in the texts, not in the emails.
- We do not hide the subscription. The letter only starts after you confirm it, and unsubscribing is one click inside the letter itself. No writing to support, no “are you sure you want to leave”.
- We do not give medical, legal or financial advice. A chart does not answer those questions, and neither do we.
- We do not promise outcomes. We say what is true now and until when, not what will happen.
- We do not invent reviews. There are no testimonials on this site, because there are no real ones yet.
And the honest part
Astrological interpretation is not scientifically established. Computing the sky is astronomy, and that part is exact; that those positions mean something for a person is tradition, not a demonstrated fact. This is a site for reflection and self-observation. What you take from it is yours to decide.
